I cannot wait for this game...6 v 6 FPSMOBA (Though some blogs I have read did state some maps/modes would be 8 v I honestly believe this IS an FPSMOBA. All characters have 4 abilities with the 4th being called an Ultimate. There is Offense, Defense, Tank, and Support Classes. Starting with these 12 characters and I have read some blogs hinting at more characters after the game debuts. Devs on stage kept mentioning that they were not making a class-based game, but a character based one...if true, then more characters in the 4 above classes will come. In the teaser trailer, Tracer even states: "You know, the world can always use more heroes." <---tease that there will be more Heroes/Characters Free to play... <---- I hope DLC in the form of...HATS, COSTUMES, EFFECTS...all being cosmetic in nature, some paid for, some earned via BOXES!!! New maps coming...
Hopefully it won't be a MOBA, but just objective based, etc. We don't need to stick it in a MOBA shaped hole.
We'll definitely have to get it a try when it's out! Heroes of the Storm already fills the MOBA mold and does it better than the others, so Overwatch can just focus on shooting, melee, and objectives.

Playing this right now, open beta weekend. OMG!!! THIS IS AMAZING!!! I cannot believe how this just plain FEELS like a good TF2 match. It has a MOBA style twist in your characters abilities, however it plays like a good, tactical shooter. Buttery smooth on my older computer so I believe nearly everyone can run it. Also, it is coming to PCs and both consoles. I think Blizzard has a winner. No dedicated servers, however they are allowing for custom games. So you invite 11 of your friends to a custom match and there you go. NOT quite what we are looking for, but could work with another chat program. We would just have to set up a custom game.

Finally got a chance to give this a fair shake, and its awesome! It's like TF2 before hats! I'm just playing random heroes, but I'm really liking Pharah so far.

So far recording a bunch of footage and attempting to play every class... DO the best with Hanzo, Tracer, Reinhardt, Mei, McCree, and D.Va. Have played a few others, but not good yet with those and still have a bunch I have not tried. I am LOVING this game...agree with Earl, it FEELS a LOT like early TF2. You guys NEED to get in this game...Let's get some RH action going on!!!
It's 100% coming to consoles! I'm not sure whether I want to get it for xbox or ps4, but it's going to be one of those two.
I've got a ps4 so that is the system I'll be trying it out on.
Well then, PS4 it is! ^_^
It's coming out during my finals week, so I won't be able to play right away, but I'll be around quite a bit this summer, between grad school stuff and packing for Maryland.
My psn username is Haligoth if you (or anyone else) want to add me.

There's a bit of rock/paper/scissors when it comes to the heroes, so team coordination is key. You also have to learn the strengths and weaknesses and abilities of each hero, so there is a bit of a learning curve.
A group of us have been having a blast playing the past few days. Definitely worth a second look. We're feeling the lack of private servers though, but custom games aren't too bad.
