http://usdrama.net/OK guys - this site seems too good to be true. Free shows, no ads, including HBO and Netflix originals. What's up? Cuz if this is a good / solid site, it might bear looking into... Thanks!

https://web.archive.org/web/20140815000 ... sdrama.netThis is a pretty new service, registered in 2011 but not brought online until February. I have no idea how they can operate, although I did read that the content is low rez (480p or lower). Also looks like it's flashplayer based, didn't see an app for smartphones. Seems like people are using the service though.

They claim it's HD, but since you have to use Flash to play it, IDK. But, mainly my questions are:
From where are they getting their content? Most especially the originals and exclusives, such as Orange is the New Black, or recent seasons of shows that are pay-per-view on any other streaming service, such as American Horror. If these are pirated versions of the shows, I don't want to use the service.
How are they generating revenue? There is no fee to watch a show, nor any kind of subscription fee. There are no ads, during the show or banner ads on the webpages. Even if their shows are pirated, it costs money to run the page, bandwidth for streaming, etc. How are they paying for it?
I think I'm going to create a bogus hotmail account and sign up - just to see their Terms of Service.
Things that make you go hmmmm.

I'm assuming its a torrent streaming service like Popcorn time. Not legal but hard to shut down.

Thanks AC... I started thinking it was some kind of file sharing site - and I don't want to get into that... I did find something about it may have started as part of PLEX: https://forums.plex.tv/index.php/topic/104107-rel-usdramanet/Still no idea how they generate revenue!
