So, as some of you know, I took up running a few months back. I'm slow and old but I'm enjoying it and I'm wondering if anyone else out there in the RH community is a runner? If there are 12 of us, we can order some RH tec-ts :)

My wife is the serious runner - she's doing the NYC marathon again this year (last year ended up just being laps around Central Park). I'd look awfully funny in a tec-t, with the big gut and all. But if you get an order in, I'll buy one for her.

Does she need a place to stay or to be put in touch with some local runners? I have a good size group of friends doing NYC.

Cool, now let's see the pic after the race. :P

I'm a bit of an amateur runner myself. Here's a pic of me half-way through a 1000 foot climb in a trail race:

Looking at that picture, all that comes to mind is "hills suck."

And thanks JD. She's actually part of a running club here in Bermuda, and a bunch of them are going to NYC together. I'll mention to her, though.

Was a D1 runner in college, been in a cycle of injuries since and haven't been able to compete at a level I'd like. :( Still love going for my run(s) everyday.

Wife is currently the runner...I am still rehabbing this stupid back (2 (NOW maybe 3) 'bulging' discs). After I have completed this...another month or so, I can start to run. Just got cleared 2 weeks ago to do light workouts on an elliptical machine and I have started weight lifting again. I will post times/distances when I get past the 3 mile mark again.

Back in the day...I used to run ALL THE TIME. Never ran more than a competitive 5k, but I HAD FUN.

Now, last year, I managed to get back to running, back wasn't as messed up, and I was able to take part the Run For Your Lives zombie run that tours the country. Was very fun...I died (lost my last flag) about 800 meters from the finish line. Any of you guys take part in an obstacle course style race?

I'm planning on doing the Tough Mudder here in Portland next year with Ecterris. He did the Wisconsin one and talked me into it while he was down visiting.
