Just opening a thread about whatever it is that I am drinking for that night...granted I don't drink every night, but, will give me reviews of whatever it is I am drinking. To start this off then: Quilter's Irish Death
Tastes a bit of chocolate and similar in flavor to red ales, smoky malt flavor, and finishes sweet with hints of molasses. It is very dark, but with little head. This is ridiculously smooth to drink and it goes down almost too easy. It is in a 22 oz bottle at 7.8% alcohol. Booya!

Nice!
Cool idea, I have a bottle of this open and am known to have a wee nip on occasion...
It's a fantastic whiskey, it was very deservedly named the 3rd best whiskey in the world. Interestingly this whiskey is from India but made with Scottish peat.
50% alcohol, booya!

Tonight's Libation Mens Room Original Red Good Red Brew with a portion of the profits going to Fisher House Charity. To date I think they have been able to donate north of 150K.

Don Julio 1942.
Wow, this is an amazing tequila I had tonight. I suggest you drink this after dinner as a digestif. The bouquet is so distinctly vanilla, and the drink so smooth but with that final kicker that leaves no doubt it's tequila.

That Don Julio looks awesome...will have to look for it when in a Tequila mood.
Clean flavor, and finishes nice. Though not what I am used to from Bocks. It is a bit too smooth, though no complaints. Trader Joe's and it was $5.25 for the six-pack. Nice price for 7% alcohol brew... Then later...some unfiltered Sake...

We've gotten this far into a drinking thread without anyone mentioning Keystone, Natural or Olde English 800? My my, how the bar has risen
I was drinking San Miguel Dark almost exclusively but was recently introduced to Hoegaarten by a buddy and have been drinking that now. SMD is about $5.99 a sixer at Trader Joes. I think they also carry the HG, but unfortunately I was in a time-squeeze and had to pay premium price at Bevmo.
My palate is not that discerning if you hadn't already noticed lol. If it tastes good and doesn't give me any weird after-effects (like beer farts or hangovers) then I'll drink it. But I'm down to literally one beer a night, 4-5 times a week. For that, something with a little higher alc content is perfect.
this shite is hard to find but if you can find it, drop the nickel on it. seriously the very best I've ever had and I've had some really expensive and rare scotch.
Also, next time you are at Trader Joe's pick some of this up. It's from Quebec and is made by a french canadian equivalent of david hasselhoff. Some of the best beer I've ever tasted. Seriously Jinx and Carl, pick this up asap.

Lately at my bar iv'e been making strawberry Mojitos and everyone loves them.
Start with about 2 large strawberries, 8-9 mint leaves and some simple syrup, and muddle in bottom of glass, then pour 2 oz of Cruzan strawberry rum, then fill rest of glass with half club soda, half sprite. very tasty, not too sweet, just real refreshing!

What I was partaking while playing tonight...Very good flavor, finished quick, only double distilled so not as smooth as Tullamore Dew or Jameson, but due to this has a unique flavor the other's don't. It is also brewed by a small, independent Irish owned distillery.

Watched it, personally can't stand it...yet again making heroes of the stupid and non-law abiding. I don't know the laws of the state this show is filmed in, but here in WA, if I want to make Whiskey, I can after I get a Crafter's License and do it legally.
