I do want to upgrade my vid card, but the current one is doing great...all things high, and AA at 4x and I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary.
Current setup:
2.80 gigahertz AMD Phenom II X4 920
ASUS M4A78-E
4GB RAM
ATI Radeon 4870 1GB w/2x AA in-game...never cared for AA in action games, but, trying it for this one
Allowed the game to auto select its settings for graphics and only changed 2 items...AA to 2x and terrain settings from low to medium.
Game is VERY playable for me, I just suck at it.
Very hard to see my targets and I am too used to the color pallet of TF2.

Ha, that's very similar to my old setup I just upgraded from.

Also, is it true that BF3 has no mod support? No Project Reality 2 could ever be in the works?

Don't know about mod support...read in some forums that it was still being discussed at DICE. However, everyone knows by now, not MOD support, game has a limited shelf life. IF there is MOD support, your game's popularity and life is measured in years not months.

So I got thi game for the ps3 and LOVE it! I know not as good blah blah but I'm finding it to be really fun. I finished the campaign today and thought it was ok but the multiplayer is fantastic. Rush mode is my favorite.
