The World vs World reminds me a lot of the Warhammer Online keep seiges. Be sure to travel in a group, as it can be easy to get overwhelmed by the zerg type groups roaming around.

I believe that DAoC's RvR is what GW2's WvW is modeled after.

I just spent all morning playing WvW and I have to say that it's quite expensive to get anywhere in it. I spent around 50 silver on a single Supply camp while we were doing well and 40 minutes later the enemy rolled up and just destroyed the camp.

Made me mad because I spent all that money. Oh well it was fun though!

Ah, makes sense as DAoC and Warhammer Online are both made by Mythic. I did have fun with WvW as well - just had to be sure to find a well organized group who know what they are doing.
