Until Friday Celeste is free on the Epic Games Store. On Metacritic the game has a score of 94/100 (IGN gave it a 10/10) and after finishing the story a few minutes ago it definitely deserves its perfect score.
Celeste is a single player action 2D Platformer in which you play as Madeline a girl/woman trying to climb Celeste Mountain. Along the way you meet a few characters that have legit laugh out loud dialog while Madeline deals with her own internal conflicts. In real-time the game can get to Super Meat Boy levels of difficulty, but you can reduce the speed at any time. Hidden in each level are tapes that unlock "B-Side" which is similar to Super Meat Boy's Dark World stages, Strawberries, hearts and diamonds.
Again highly recommended for anyone that enjoys platformers. I have embedded the game's trailer below:
PS: Also this week Inside is free on the same store and that is another perfect game. So get both games everyone for free until Friday and enjoy!
