lower the respawn time or turn it off as its to long and is the biggest complaint in TF2 currently and people tend to flock to servers with fast respawn

Thanks MKE for the forum section and welcome everone to TF2 Baby!

Yeah, just need to shorten the spawn time a bit. Especaily on the bigger maps were you have to walk far to get back to the action.

I also noticed that when you die, you either fall through the floor or your body gets stuck in the floor.
I don't know if anybody else noticed it, but I thought it look pretty funny seeing dead bodies floundering around half way in the floor. I got killed a few times watching the dead bodies spaz out

Nice work getting the server/forum going. Had a good time playing.
Shorter spawn time for me would really help your scores.

Do I need to buy the Orange Box to get TF2 or can I download it off of Steam?

You can download TF2 by itself through steam, I don't know what's available in stores though.

IKE!

You can load either off of steam. The orange box comes with several other games, while the TF2 download is just that.

I haven't seen just TF2 in stores, all I've seen is the Orange Box package.

Hey now!
I came home Friday night and found my roommate playing TF2 and decided to join.
After a while, I noticed that several players had the [RH] tag.
I looked at the server name and was astonished to see "Renegade Heroes"!
The memories came rushing back: coming home from class and looking forward to nothing more than sitting down in front of my computer and having at it during Friday Night Fights!
So, I have officially made the change to TF2.
DoD just ain't the same without RH.
It's good to see some of the familiar names still around.

Just wanted to stop in to say "hi" and thank you guys for keeping the server up and running.

See you on the field!

Haha, I knew that name looked familiar on the server, and then I saw that you were sniping and it all came together. Welcome back Priest!

I thought this would be a good place to express my thanks for the honor that was given to me last night during Friday Night Fights.
I appreciate it greatly and I'm delighted to now be one of the Renegade Heroes.

I do have some questions:
#1. Do we still use the Grunts, Rangers, and Heroes heirarchy, or is everyone considered equal now?
#2. How does the tag get added to the forum account name?
#3. What sort of responsibilities am I now expected to perform (besides abiding by server rules of course)?

1. Nope, no more grunts, rangers ect....there are server admins but other then that everyone is pretty much on an even keel.
2. It doesn't. Unless you request one of the forum administrators to change your login name for you.
3. Make fun of Z315, make mom jokes directed @ Parkmad ect....

Ah good, so I don't have to worry about server moderator stuff like map chages, kicking for members, etc?

When no admin is on, the regular members (non-admin) are supposed to have some basic admin rights .. map change, kick, etc .. but I believe it is still non-functional due to an update from Steam. Used to work.
