The Pyromania update!

In celebration of the long awaited release of the "Meet the Pyro" video this Wednesday, VALVe are putting together a major update to celebrate, the Pyromania update!

Day 1 reveals a new game mode "Doomsday" and achievement titles are revealed.

Day 2 is up with a slew of new weapons for the Scout, Soldier, and Sniper, a new flare gun for the Pyro and a sneak peak at the "Meet the Pyro" vid.

You don't play on RH anymore, so what do you care? j/k haha. This affects arena too.

Speculating about weapons from stats is pretty pointless, but they do sound interesting at the very least. Don't tell Mithyk about that sniper rifle. That new rocket launcher sounds awesome for me to deflect

Actually, I haven't been playing at all, I got burned out and uninstalled about 2-3 month's ago. However I've re-installed today and the new game mode "Doomsday", all these new weapons and whatever get revealed tomorrow are enough to get me playing again.

Expect to see me on the server a little more often.

I liked it. Maybe the "Pretty Pony" segment was slightly too long but it added some personality to the class and "explains" a lot. While it didn't address the mass internet stupidity of whether the pyro is a girl or not, who the eff cares?

Strangely enough, Park, it seems the majority of the Steam forums like the vid. Only some fools thought Valve would reveal the pyro's identity and ruin his charm and personality. That would've been a bad move. Great vid.

I love it! It gives more insight to the pyro as a character without really revealing anything. Who he/she actually is behind the mask is still a mystery, but it doesn't really matter.
