TF2 Comics and Random Videos! Vol. 2

Actually most of that vid highlighted solo play and frags, but it started out with some nice teamwork. It was a cool watch, but it's funny how some of the clips start with 2-3 deaths on their own team in the upper right, show only one kill, and then cut away before that player obviously died. Only once did they show their own death, and that was because it happened a quarter second after a kill.

I give this vid a 7.5/10. It got some nice editing, but some of the clips were terrible. Anyone can get one kill and then die (granted once it was a scout vs heavy, but notice the scout only shot the heavy once with the scattergun to kill him, so that heavy was super low on health anyway, not really worthy of putting into a frag vid).

I know MMM is a very good team, just felt like being critical of some of their clips.

Thanks, spent about 2 hours on the camera work and it probably didn't turn out too much different than it was in first 15 minutes. The replay update is the greatest thing ever.
So many ideas for videos in my head right now.

Also, if anyone knows where I can get a cheap version of Sony Vegas Pro that would be awesome. Even if it's a older version. Not gonna pay $600 for software and don't want too pirate it.

Can we get replay turned on the server again...I attempted to download a replay right after someone turned it off on the server...I have now been suffering from the failed to download sound effect since someone turned it off again several days ago. I just want to download what I recorded. THANKS!

Sorry jinxter, but I don't think your demo was ever recorded. RH never had properly working replays until I just made it work today. Before then, replays were sometimes "enabled" but there was no where for the data to actually go, so nothing was actually recorded. Valve made replays a bit of a pain to set up, and patched the game a couple times just to fix those issues. They now work a bit better for people, but set up was still an involved process...

Sorry for the loss of your replay. I'm sure you'll get another awesome moment in!

Thanks, been super busy since replay update and was out of town all weekend so those where all thrown together quickly. Going to start on a bigger project tonight.

If you haven't been keeping up lately, here's a video of things to come to TF2 in future updates. Keep in mind this video is a little dated and a few things have already been released (Western Wear, Luchador Mask etc).



I just hope we get a couple more backpack pages soon, because I'm starting to run out of room.

Don't count on the extra backpack pages. Valve already expanded our backpacks by 100 slots and sells expanders in the mannco store for $5 each. I got one myself (extra 100 slots), through trade. They are tradable and hence have value just like keys do. You should be able to trade for a backpack expander if you have about 6 refined metal. I got mine for 5, but that's slightly under market value.

Totally forgot about the backpack expanders. At the rate that VALVe updates TF2, I'll have to invest in buying one in the near future.

Anyways, here's my first replay. What do you think? Probably could have edited it better, but not bad for my first replay.
