With everyone unable to make it on various days, this is shaping up to be an awesome final match of the season. We're totally winning this.
Also, I can make these days (probably won't on Saturday though), but a) I'm not practicing with a team of filler players, and b) if we're going to scrim, I need it to start when it's scheduled. I can't wait around this week, too busy.

Scrim tomorrow Saturday, 4/30 is cancelled since many of our members will not be able to make it.

That would be Saturday, 4/30.
The scrim tomorrow on Sunday, 5/1 is still on.

Ok they finally have released the playoff maps: Round 1: cp_prolane Round 2: pl_upward Round 3: ctf_chaos Finals: best of 3 maps At the moment we are ranked 36 so if we win we will be most likely rank 32 or better. If we lose than we will be rank 33 or higher. The reason this matters is it will determine which playoff league we will be in. http://www.ugcleague.com/playoffs_tf2hl_season3.cfm

Wow...that was an exciting match everyone. Sorry for being late, but because of me and only me we were able to defeat those Axl-A+ goons to get into the North American Silver League Playoffs. The dust is still settling on what rank we are and more importantly who we are going to face, but it should be a similarly ranked team. As for the scrim this week they are as follows: Tuesday: Team Player (Jekt is my contact) 7pm pst Wednesday: TMH (aka Malent's team) 7pm pst Thursday: Axl-ffu 7pm pst Friday: =EGC= (jerro is my contact) 7pm pst Saturday: Still working on it Sunday: Still working on it P.S. I was probably the least important person tonight and again great job to everyone who played tonight...you were fantastic. And for those of you on the team and didn't show up please try to be online for all of these scrims so we don't have 8 players starting the match again!

Sounds like you have a strong highlander team. And with all due respect to chuuuuw and al, it sounds like you have a strong 6v6 team as well.

Big news: I won't be here starting Sunday May 8 through Saturday May 14 (I'll be back early May 15). You should find a medic to play in the match on Monday, and probably next Monday if they get in a lot of map practice (although I will technically be able to play the 2nd match).
Sorry, gotta do family things. Will visit the forum via phone.

Oh good. Just remember in comp, you can't talk like your dog just died, and sigh every 10 seconds. But really, you'll have to talk a lot, call out your position every 20 seconds or when it changes, uber percentage, and organize pushes. It's a lot of talking for me. You should try to do all the scrims this week, if possible. There's not much point in me scrimming all week, then not playing on Monday. I know you can do it, Park!

Offer to help and I get life coaching from a 20 something with no actual responsibilities. I am what I am. I will still play if needed. I can be at the scrim tonight and Friday but not tomorrow.

I'm actually 31, but okay. Might be nice if I were a 20 something again... Also, it wasn't life coaching, we just can't have any attitude in competition. You're free to do whatever you want with your life (I don't need to tell you that), but in comp, it's different. It's not life coaching, it's comp coaching. Oh, and to be sliiiiiightly serious, don't pretend you know who I am. I am helping a few people help pay their two separate mortgages, I run my own business with my own bills, and I just paid off my $30k car after 4 years. I'm not trying to compare anyone here, but my point is don't think that because you have 100 responsibilities in your life that no one else has anything to worry about.[/endrant]

We have some exceptional players that can't even move towards the point through the same doors. Every GD time!!! We decide to go right and then next round, the only people going right are Max and I. Honestly, this team needs to be yelled at. As far as comparing lives, if you are happy with your life, then don't worry about how it does or doesn't stack up. I am planning to be available for the scrim but since the update, TF2 is crashing to desktop. I may have to delete and reinstall and it may not be finished in time. I did the defrag and validate crap but no success.

I think you're confusing having a negative attitude with having an assertive one. RH has a very pub mentality still, and does need to be yelled at a lot of times to get things done, but it's more about the assertiveness and direction than it is about bringing down the team. Hell, you can probably be quite mean in comp and be just fine. Having a downer attitude is what doesn't belong in comp. In the past, ethan and blaine have been negative and they know it. Telling the team in the middle of play that the other team is going to win, or saying how much we suck, that never helps (you can say so afterwards though haha). Being assertive, even to the point of telling specific people what to do, can work quite well.
On the RH pub server, I actually find your usual "heeey noooow...sigh" funny and one of the things that makes the server diverse. In comp play, it's something to do without. Be as mean as you want though; it gets things done.
