Unfortunately I will not be able to make it tomorrow. I had already accepted an appointment at Microsoft to do a playtest on a new game...so I will be at Microsoft tomorrow starting at 1845 and won't be home until after 2100...sorry.

I would recommend NO scrim this Sunday...that is SUPER BOWL SUNDAY...means FOOTBALL, TOO MUCH BEER and TOO MUCH FOOD. I WILL NOT be ready to scrim AT ALL!

I've spoken with most of you about the match time situation already, but it is looking like the match will be at 6:30pm PST. The reason it was changed from 8pm PST to what you could call limbo right now is because of the following.
Early yesterday their team leader sent me a message saying their team could not field a team at what was suppose to be an 8pm PST match time tonight, which was a nearly agreed upon time at that point (if 8pm PST didn't work we would move to 7pm PST). When I said I had multiple players rushing home to make the 8pm PST match time he then sent me a message of rule 2.1.1 (about match times) and proceeded to tell me that "some" of his team could not make it. After this I attempted to create a middle ground of 7:30pm PST which I thought would be a compromise between both times we initially bounced around, but his team said no we don't want to play at that particular time (7 said no, 3 said yes of those he could contact). With no other options I said ok we will do the 7pm PST match time in which we will attempt to scrape a team together and make it official which we agreed on 2/3 days ago as the last resort time. Now he responded with a very poorly phrased message which said no my team doesn't want to play at this time either. I then proceeded to attack why he now is going against a time agreed upon 2/3 days ago and he never gave a real reason of why his team can not make this game time. Finally after pressuring him enough he agreed to grill each member of his team into why they cannot make any time we had discussed and has yet to give me a response after what is now at least 8 hours of waiting.
I'm sorry we have to face teams that are like this and I'll do my best in the future to have this not happen again. If it is any consultation they have yet to post in the match comms and on the match comm page the following statement is written: Messages for the Current Match - Posting in Match Comms is required, to make final arrangements on day/time and servers. Team leaders should post at least 24 hours prior to your match, to give time for responses. Teams that fail to post in comms by 60 mins prior to match default time may be considered a no-show and a forfeit loss may result.
I will be sure to speak with ugc admins the second we are within 60 minutes of match time explaining what has happened to see if I can get a default win for us. Sorry for the extra long post.
P.S. Who can make a scrim time of Wednesday 8pm EST (5pm PST) this week?

I can't do 5PM on a Weds either.... 5:30 PM is the earliest I can possibly do on a weekday, but 6:00 or 6:30 would be more realistic.

BTW good job in the match today everyone. Granted the other team wasn't very good/organized, but we showed them no leniency. I cant believe Dane was up to 33-0 at one point and Park dominated all but 2 people on their team. Keep being awesome!

I can't make 5PM on any day other than the weekends. Last night was too easy. I think they only tried to kill me once. Good to have an easy one once in a while. Now if we only committed to the CP strategy that everyone uses combined with our superior play for PL and KOTH, we might go places.

Hey Now everyone. I'm giving everyone this week off of practicing so you can prepare for single awareness day. So far I have set up two scrims next week: Monday, February 14th scrim at 7:00pm PST (10pm EST) against Malent's team Saturday, February 19th scrim at 7:00pm PST (10pm EST) against Free[MFU]'s team I'll try to set up one or two more so keep checking back for updates. Also, great job on our last match team! After looking at that match again there are a few things we need to work on: - Parkmad you need to start dominating the other team, you did not do enough during our last match
- DANE you really need to improve your kpd, 33-0 is not good enough
- We let them capture the point way to many times, that should never happen!
- If the other team doesn't follow the rules and writes the match report up instead of us, we need to make sure they write something better then "bleh."
Have a great free week team!

We did one part very well on cold front. We advanced on the center point with the heavy-solly-medic and uber and came within a sliver of taking the point. We need to do that repeatedly.
Patience patience patience.

Here is the sourcetv demo file from the match tonight. We should all look at it at some point and see exactly what we did wrong and how to fix it in the future. The better we map out exactly where and when we messed up the better we will be when we get to granary and dustbowl in April. Our next match is on gravelpit so try nominating it on the pub server often and attempting to get a tf2lobby highlander match set up in your free time. I'll try getting two or three scrims this week set up, but I'm pretty busy this week so no promises. I'm going to make the match at the default time on Monday if not later since Sunday does not work for me. But the most important thing right now is nominate and play granary and dustbowl often...master how they work and how to work together. April will be a very difficult month for us otherwise.
