I could easily add it back in. Perhaps we should replace koth_waste with it, or keep both? It's a part of the same KotH map pack.


Also, I'm considering removing all arena maps from voting. We typically only play those when there's 2-4 people playing to get the server going, and switch once we start filling up. However, I'm finding KotH maps are just as good for that purpose too.

YES!!! Remove the arena maps...IMO Arena maps are enjoyed primarily by the CS crowd...Personally speaking I like some of the Arena maps, but don't ever pick one when it comes to vote...and I never join a server that is currently hosting an Arena map.

Agreed, arena is annoying. Kinda like the original para maps in DOD.

Finally getting to downloading, 3-5 mins on a 45mb map compared to minimum 10 mins, probably more like 15 waiting for the map to download on in-game!

I requested this, I am not sure however many others did... But a big thank you, Earl that was lightning fast! Guess I should of looked up what maps we were using but I am still new to the game, otherwise I would of downloaded them through a site already! I will now proceed to download the rest tonight and not ever have this problem again.. Always sux when the game is basically over by the time I get a download completed.

I'd like to request an updated server map list here please. Pretty sure I have older versions of maps and still have maps installed that aren't on the server anymore. New maps have also been added that are unlisted here.

I humbly request a reconsideration of garbageday

Hey ethan, you know I love garbage_day as much as you do, but I was actually the person who removed it from RH. I loaded it up on RH after the server emptied, and the server threw about 500 errors loading that map. It didn't crash the server with me just on it, but I can see why it killed the server when there were 20 people on.

I wish it could return too, but in its current state, it literally kills the server.

I *think* Swiftwater might have crashed everyone out of the server last week, but I can't remember 100% if it was that particular map.

The map won a vote, then everyone crashed out of the server. The server itself didn't crash, but I had to restart it on Dustbowl to get anyone to rejoin. Just an fyi.

Did this server ever run pl_minepit or am I thinking of somewhere else?
