Passed my goal, I'm down 18 lbs since I started. So about 7 weeks. I expect probably 3lbs or so of that was water, so roughly 2lbs/week; a bit more then I expected.

nice work! I went ahead and signed up for the daily burn free trial. Got my ass kicked the last 3 days. I was surprised how much of a workout it really was. It still cracks me up when JD goes into "tv announcer voice" though. Overall I'm liking it, although I had to take a break yesterday... just too sore. For what it's worth, I started my bet about 4 weeks ago and I'm down between 8-10lbs depending on what time of day I weigh myself. I guess that puts me at 2-2.5lbs a week so about the same as you nooobieee. Did you increase your calorie burn, or mostly just focused on intake? Also, how old are you? (I'm 43. ugg)

I focused exclusively on intake. And, importantly, I weigh myself at the same time every day. I'm a bit older then you are... unless it's my birthday then I'm 29.

But, to better understand my fluctuations, I've been weighing in in the morning and at night just to see. 3-4lbs of difference is pretty crazy to see.

Just a little update. I've been doing the daily burn thing about every other day. Some days really kick my ass, other days not as much, but I get a good sweat going every time, so it's working. I've also been riding and hiking at least once a week, but it has been raining a lot here so outside exercise is hit and miss so far. Anyway, I started at 213.5lbs 6 weeks ago and today I just hit my first major milestone, 199.8lbs. Under 200lbs for the first time in a very long time! My ultimate goal is 190lbs so I have some more to go, but feeling pretty good about it so far.

Nice! Are you doing Daily Burn 365 or workouts from their library?

I'm not trying to work on any particular aspect of my body. If I graduate to that point then I will most likely go looking for workouts that tailor to what I'm looking for. The variety of the 365 workouts so far has been great. I figure I can use that as a way to try a bunch of different things and decide what I like from there.
