Does anyone have any advice (or experience) in buying older WWII era weapons? I was looking around the other day and the only thing I could really find was auction websites putting prices around $500+
Preferably, I am looking for something deactivated (working bolt action, but drilled chamber) to avoid law issues although I do have a license.

Big 5 sporting goods here in wa. often has some bolt actions for 100-200 in fair working condition. We also have nw gun shows with all the stuff you can think of. Not sure about having to be U.S. citizen but I believe for the most part if your 18 you just need cash to get a gun here. I've found some pretty nice stuff at pawn shops as well. mosin nagant 7.62, Arisaka 7.7, Eddystone 30/06 for the rifles. WW1 mauser 7.6mm pistol as well as .38 Webley
