Hey now everyone.

I have a sony viao laptop that is misbehaving. There was a windows 7 update that is unable to install correctly. Then the laptop becomes extremely slow after that. I did a virus scan both in regular and safe mode and found nothing. Just to be on the safe side I reformatted the laptop. The reformat was successful, but now it's stuck updating windows (again) Currently it's stick at 103 of 140 for a the past couple of hours.

Should I try to reformat it again?

Your input is greatly appreciated.

I don't recall the exact name of the update, but it's the update that happened last weekend.
