I am wondering if there's a way to do card game outcome statistics in excel or some other odds calculation software. specifically, i am curious about various rule permutations for an 8 card game of Hi/Lo. How often will it be won, how often lost and what will making fine adjustments to the rules do to these odds. Anyone out there that can help with this? |

what about writing a very small program to randomly deal a deck of cards and play this game 10,000 time and then give me the results as statistics. This would seem to be easy. I used to program YEARS ago, would there be a language someone not entirely new to coding could pick up in short order. |
