DoD is 20yrs old.

DOD came out in 2000 on WON. The old Rogans server was the first one I joined and just never left. After playing with you guy's for years I tried another server and it wasn't long before I was accused of cheating. It was such a compliment! It was then I realized how high the level of game play we had was. Over the years we hit a few bumps and we are down to just a few stragglers here. But I'm glad to have played here, met a lot of you outside of here. Happy 20th to DOD.

I remember waiting for over 30 mins to get into the server when I first found the DOD server.

Some of my best gaming memories happened back in DOD and then TF2 days.

I hope we can all find a game that can bring some of us back to those glory days.

I first found the Rogan's Heroes group playing CS 1.6 (maybe earlier) and stuck around. Eventually made SGT during the DoD days and stayed on throughout the change to TF2. Miss the group that was, but still enjoy the few who stay around. I have played Fortnite a couple of times with AC and his son and had fun, but the east coast/west coast thing means we normally play at different times AND my son has gravitated and kicking ass in Destiny 2 and I am learning the intricacies of TFT in LOL. If you guys ever want to hook up in Fortnite, TFT, COD:Modern Warfare or COD: Warzone let me know. I still play a round of TF2 every now and again, but the nerf they put on the flame thrower just plain SUX so I don't have that old drive to keep playing that game. Air Juggling is now a thing of the past...boooooooo.

I haven't played much of anything the past few years. The only thing I played is pubg mobile when I have about 10-15 mins to kill.

I am now playing COD Modern Warfare regularly with a clan i joined a month or so back. If you are playing the game check them out.
They promote non-toxic respectful gameplay - made some good friends through it since we all use comms. Lots of streamers etc. You can find them on Facebook - look for Nuclear Gaming

The old Heroes server was the first one I played as well. I still remember only being like five or six of us in the early days. Rh was my first and last guild with a few in between.

Agreed, it's been great to join this group (GI pulled me in), and be a small part of it continuing. I still remember the stress grabbing the database of the old forums thinking that any minute we'd be shut out haha. Great to have met you all and happy 20th!
