Hey there - my son (8 almost 9) is interested in the STEAM game Escapist, a prison escape game. I try to keep him away from games that are too violent, etc. I know you get shot by guards if you get caught escaping and, I guess, if that's the extent of the violence it's fine.
I am wondering if anyone in RH plays this game and can tell me if it is or isn't okay for a kid.
Thanks AC

I haven't played it in quite a while, but if I recall correctly, many "missions" revolve around beating people up, there are weapons like, soap in a sock, shivs, screwdrivers, etc. I can't recall off the top of my head if there is blood in the game or not or if it all just boops and bonks. Still might have it loaded on my laptop, I'll take a peek when I get home.

I haven't played it, so I can't say for sure, but I would recommend that you wait until next Thursday if you plan on buying it, as Steam will be starting their winter sale Dec. 18th, and there is good chance it'll get marked down.
