Anyone playing Clash of Clans?

I'm messing around with it on the Ipad and it's pretty fun but a huge time-sink. If anyone else is playing though let me know and we can get our clan going. This is a free game btw.

I see there's already a Renegade Heroes clan, is that us or shall we make another? I'm not entirely sure what to do when in a clan here, I think we basically donate troops to each other to protect our 'kingdoms' during raids?

I just DL'd it. still trying to get the hang of what to do but if we can get a clan going and help each other out it could be pretty fun.

I was terrified of having my entire kingdom annihilated from an attack and having to rebuild from scratch...I learned that this will never happen, you'll just lose gold and elixir. The league rankings are cool though, and it's cool to be able to look at all the different configurations people have for their kingdom.

The time-management aspect is really sucking away all my RL free time lol. I don't want to miss a chance at upgrading overnight while I sleep, or upgrading after I wake up, or on the drive to work. MUST UPGRADE!

BTW I'm Carl Weathers if you hadn't already guessed. And you'll have to rebuild the Clan Castle before we can share troops; that'll take you about a day to mine the gold.

That's what I thought too but I don't recognize the names. I'll try and figure out how to message them and find out, otherwise it looks like it will be easy to create a new one. Maybe a new one with the tag attached at the end or something.

I don't think there's a way to send messages to people unless it's global or within a clan that you've joined. Doesn't matter, we can create a clan with a redundant name and add a description identifying us as [RH] if that makes sense?

The catch? You need 40k in gold to create the clan. I'll be at that point later tonight or in the morning so I can do it. Also, you'll need to rebuild the Clan Castle before you can join a clan so in the meantime you'll be mining to get to that amount. You'll find out if you enjoy the game during that time

You'll get them for clearing out your field of rocks, trees, etc but not a whole lot. You get more by way of achievements which you can view by pressing the female picture in the upper left. I'm hording my gems to buy a vaunted third builder, and I've used a couple here and there for the mining boost last week and to speed up a build.

I don't think there's a way to search for players, just clans. Fubar, search for Renegade Heroes and ask to join so I can add you...not sure if you can search for clans before you've rebuilt the clan castle though?

Well, I am level 6, so it will be a while. To rebuild, you gotta have 40k, to get that you have to upgrade gold storage, which ti upgrade you have to upgrade town hall .. sob.

I was able to find you carl by looking for the clan. I didn't try messaging you though so I'm not sure if that's possible. I'm a long way from having my clan castle built so I couldn't request an invite either.

It'll take a day or two to get the gold for the castle and rebuild it. AC just joined btw. Once you're added then the game provides a private chat channel just for us and the NSA. O don't think there are any messaging options outside of that between players.

Meanwhile I've got gold coming out of my ears, I can't spend it fast enough!
