The only place I can get it is my Galaxy 3, but I'm gonna try it... I'm RHTien.

And yes, I bet this is going to be one heck of a time sink... but better this than Candy Crush Saga, eh?

I run it on my galaxy SII so your SIII should be fine. I also have it on a tablet though.

I messaged a bunch of the WoW guys about it so hopefully we get a decent bunch of people involved and can get some serious clan battles going.

yeah, it's a little slow going at first. I still haven't gotten enough gold storage to rebuild my guild castle yet, but I'm close now.

Lately I've been concentrating on improving my mines and elixir collectors so that they can hold more resources, meaning I can go longer between logins without losing anything.

I also need to look into attack strategy. Some of the goblin camps kick my ass routinely. :(

Yeah. Funny how those goblins are way more organized about camp layout. Thanks for the link.

sweet! I'm in. It took me awhile to get to this point but I've managed it without spending any money yet.

btw, who is hannah? I recognize everyone else.

Hannah is school friend of enzo per AC

Spend money? NEVER!! It's possible to get enough gems for another clan castle through achievements, I'm about 80 awayfrom it.

Aw man, I think I was playing a knock off called Jungle Heat (from my research it's the best knock off :P). I didn't know about Clash of Clans before I started playing that about 8 months ago. The games are almost identical, so I don't think I can put in time again for the same game.

JD - here are my recommendations. Im sure they are not the best, but these are my opinions.

First, id move all your buildings you have on the outside wall closer. You have about 11 buildings that can be attacked/destroyed by archers and your defense wouldnt be in range. 11 buildings is about 25% damage -half way to one star already.

Close of the middle section of your base. there is one wall spot that is open.

I like the positioning of the air defense, but maybe they can be spread out a little more?

The gold mines and elixir collectors, i feel dont need to be inside walls. better use of the walls would be to separate your defensive structures so it will take enemies longer to get to, which in turn will take more damage.

i think that would optimize your base even more

attaching an image of my buddys setup. look at how he uses the funneling technique. the gaints will attack the mage towers bc there not in a wall.

Im going to setup my base like this tonight before the clan war tomorrow

If you keep your base tight you'll be able to concentrate more firepower on attackers.

I have one tesla tower on my map that is designed to split up or distract giants that might have gained access to my main walls through wallbreakers (giants have to attack defenses first). If you place your teslas in a spot with overlapping supporting fire (cannon, mortar, etc) you can get the giants fixed in place for all the other defenses to work on them.

Those big bombs are really good too. Maybe review some past attacks to see where attackers usually pool and place them there. People attacking me use that same western route most of the time where i have my launchers. If they come from the east they usually have giants/goblins that get vaporized by the big bombs.

I also have unconnected walls designed to slow attackers down allowing archers/cannon to hit them, and steer them where iwant them to go. If i had another tesla i could place it inside that little wall on the east of my map...giants would be forced to walk the length of that [open] wall to attack the tesla, all while my defenses are hitting them. Attacker AI prefers an open wall so you can use that to steer them like cattle.

RH'ers .. just wanted to let you know something I listed in the chat in game, but the infamous " gg " is my 8 yr old son. He has gotten soundbites from me for his spelling, message spamming, joining and dropping, and the overuse of exclamation points. My patience is worn thin as well , but maybe because he is my son, I would like to give him another shot. Give him a short leash .. if he continues to drop and join then he will not be allowed back in. If you disagree, feel free to post here, and if I am outvoted then I am outvoted.

I knew that he was your son but not that he was only 8. I have no problem with spelling, spaming, ect... you can't expect an 8 year old to know all the in's and out's of internet etiquette but the dropping and joining is getting a little old.

imo if you want to add him, he's family and you should feel free to deal with that as you wish, but I personally will just ignore his guild requests from now on. He could join or not, I don't care either way really but he needs to make a decision and stick with it. If you add him 15 more times I won't be bothered, but he shouldn't expect much help from anyone if he keeps doing it.

same - i have an 8 year old and he and his buddy (also 8) are in the clan so i get the issues very well. you're welcome to add him back but I think he should be asked to stay if he comes back.

I like how Ash explained it and I feel the same way. I don't think his friend should come back though.

Clan wars are fun huh? :D
