I'm curious as to what FPS you guys are getting in-game? I'm not sure what I'm at but it feels around 30fps or so (which is completely playable for me). I've read on the Chivalry forums that some people are having FPS issues and that it seems to be focused on the CPU as the bottleneck, and the more players on the server the greater the FPS hit.

My specs in case you're wondering:
Windows 7 64-bit
Q6600 Quad (~2.4GHz I think)
8GB RAM
HD6850

I played this sucker for like 4 hours straight last night dude, it's well worth the money After our server died out last night I joined a 48-man server, laggy as hell but holy crap it was intense. Imagine you're defending a castle from inside, 20 or so Knights come bursting through the front doors, and you have to engage them up close and personal?

Checked the chivalry forums last night and found out the first content update is due in January. Optimizations, a new map, a couple new weapons, dueling mode and a bunch of other stuff. The devs are delivering!

Yep, should be awesome! This game needs more maps, more game modes, beter admin tool support, and all chat, then it's going to be golden. Right now it's silver-plated.

From what I've read, the game is more cpu than vc heavy. I'm running windows 7, q6600 cpu and hd6850 vc and it's more than playable for me.

just bought the game. doesn't play on my laptop worth a crap though. gonna try it on the desktop later.

Been on a binge since getting back from Thailand, trying to learn some of the advanced attacks (like quick counter attack)

got the game installed on my pc and had a chance to play for a few minutes. kinda fun so far.

Easiest way is to open the console

Their server browser isn't the greatest. The console has persistent history, so you can just hit up-arrow to re-run the command next time you load the game.

I can never find the server in the browser but I use the open command in console per Earl's instruction and have no issue.

Good news: Server seems to be full all the time. Last night @ 6pm had 30 people; 20 people @ midnight.
