A bunch of us have it already and have been enjoying it since it came out a month ago (and some since alpha and beta). I backed this on Kickstarter a few months ago. We might even need to get our own server if enough of us play. We can duel, siege a castle, pillage a town, killing villagers... It has full voice menus like TF2, taunts, and lots of weapons!

We've got a bunch of folks in Chivalry now! I really think this game could be the next game we get our own server for. It's actually set up a lot like TF2 (or DoD), down to the voice menus, in-game voice, and class/team changing.

I only rage at pubs. I don't really rage when it's a bunch of RH having fun. Let's do this!

In conclusion, this game is awesome.

I can't invalidate your statement, but I played a lot of both and I don't think they are similar, for better or worse. I guess the part that is similar is that the team objective maps are very progression based. You push a cart to a door, you poison the water supply, open the gates, break down the door with a battering ram, burn the wheat fields, kill villagers... it has that feeling like in ET of really progressing through a map, not just killing dudes.

Otherwise, it's oddly a lot more like TF2 in the way it's set up, although gameplay doesn't feel much like TF2 at all since it's swords and shields (and other weaponry).

It's no longer 50% off but people should still buy it at 33% off, or possibly wait till the price drops again this Steam sale!

If we rent a server I'll steal some cash from Mod's purse for the first month. In for $20, and maybe a couple pennies stuck together with gum.

The game needs polish but even in its infancy is very exciting. Need more teamwork! BTW, does the in-game voice work or is that having issues?

FYI for anyone wondering if they have the hardware for this:
I'm running a Radeon HD6850, an old Quad Core CPU and 8GB of mid-grade RAM and attain playable FPS on High settings. At a guess I'd say I'm getting 25-30FPS during intense combat, otherwise it's very smooth for me. Thinking of lowering some of the settings to improve it a bit, and also buying a mouse with more than LMB/RMB/Scroll Wheel...I need another button so I can kick the shite out of people when they use that damn Knight Shield (I'm looking at you Dane).

In for $20 on Friday if anyone has a handy paypal to send it to...

Good idea Earl, I don't think we need the MvM server anymore. If we had all-talk on in our own Chiv server with a bunch of RH [and regulars] on, it would be a blast!
