So I was able to log in with my old ID from before it went free-to-play, and as soon as I loaded, a bunch of XP points were added to my character, bringing him up to Rear Admiral. All skill points have been reset as well. Been a while since I played, mainly due to all the bugs and crashes, but might take some time later to try it again.
