I was against this, until I saw the trailer...pure gameporn, and the soundtrack is awesome!

This is a remake - the original was purely awesome!

There was Syndicate for PC in the early 90's i believe and Syndicate 2 came out about 4 years later. They were not first person shooters however more like action - god mode birds eye ect.

music is the same. solid - check them out, probably find them for free, i think they ran in dos but was way ahead of its time. I remember playing that and x-wing/tie fighter around the same time.

The original Syndicate was great. I have a copy on my flash drive right now along with a bunch of other old games I used to play. If you are interested you can get the original Syndicate, and probably to sequel, off H ome O f T he U nderdogs. This one looks great.

Didn't the original also play on the Sega Genesis? I think I played that and the one on the PC, for hours and hours and hours of fun. Music was always intense when your cover was blown.
