It's sort of like TF2 set in the west with lots of game modes and reviving your teammates. Good fun! $13.49 on steam now or $14.99 when it releases on April 8th. You get access to the beta right now, which installs automatically as the game itself.

It's a lot of fun, limited weapons and special ability per class, 5 per team so games remain small but involved, some unique gameplay not done all in one game before. However it has a few caveats so far and I'll save you the trouble if these are deal breakers for you: there is currently no option for a dedicated server. There is no in-game voice chat so friends need to use vent or other software. I'm not sure if you can join your friends or if it's always just random team placement but I never picked a team. The game has experience and leveling, but it's per match, not persistent and permanent. So it's closer to Enemy Territory than it is to Modern Warfare.

For less than $15 I think it's worth it even if the community dies within a year. It's some unique fun and small creative devs should get our support!

Not sure I like the turrets but they are not super close to objectives.

i tried this game during a free weekend, it's alright for ~$10. not too complex due to 4 classes and it seemed most people went for one of two classes so but maybe that was just the server i was on. it also seemed to delve into just killing too rather than trying to get objectives but again, that may have just been the server. not huge amounts of servers out there either so the community isn't huge.

Hey folks, the game is on sale today for $1.50. The summer sale is neat. Just FYI, here are the RH (or RH regulars) who own this game already:

Earl, Joker, MonikerEpsilon, Maxwell, Blaine, DANE, slipdisco, Sneakman, Dac, Yare, me (and Yeti, above, but he's never on)

RH played it during a free weekend once and it was a lot of fun. It's $1.50, come on you cheap bastards!!! Oh, this game is still fun too. It's a nice change of pace from TF2, but with the class based gameplay, and in the west.

BUY IT FOR EVERYONE (there's also a 4-pack for $4.50 geez!)

I want to set up an RH Lead & Gold game night. Hosting a server is easy and not too tough on the system, so I can do that for our gang of rapscallions.

Hmm, I don't have 2 copies. I bought one extra just in case we had an extra person wanting to join us. You could buy the other copy off Steam for $10 though.

You should play though! More more more!
